If it wasn't for the Soviet Union in wolrd war two, we'd all be speaking German. More than 5 times as many Soviets died than Americans, so again, go read some books, my friend.

Funny how the US changes their opinion of the Soviet Union after the war when they realize they can't manipulate Russia like the rest of the western world...

The reason the US didn't trust them is because the Soviet Union developed nuclear weapons. Their reason for doing so was just, as the US could have used them to force the USSR into doing what ever they pleased, so in a way, it was only to counteract the nuclear weapons of the US.

I can guarentee you that you have no idea about the reality of the situation in Iran. The current Islamist government in Tehran was inadvertedly set up by the CIA. By funding the Mujhadhin in Afghanistan, which were Islamist fighters (and later became the taliban). They overthrew the pro-US shah. As for Iran's nuclear program, it is strictly for power reasons, and is totally open to whatever organisation that wishes to inspect it. Have there been nuclear weapons found in Iran? No.

The Far East became communist by itself, the USSR had little to no involvement in it. Actually, for most of the cold war, China and the USSR hated eachother. As for Viet Nam, what was the US doing there in the first place? Oh yeah, supporting a corrupt dictatorship which the people dispised, thats what.

Putin was indeed a member of the KGB, but guess what, those times have past. You need to realize that the cold war is over, and the US and Russia are allies now. If it weren't for Russia, the US wouldn't be able to get to Afghanistan by rail, cripeling the "war" there. (Which irronically, the US funded.)

Go to your local library and read a few books. ;)

Oh, and please don't use caps like that, its annoying.

I have reason to believe that that helmet is either French or Polish (Or an un-aligned county), as the Russian 'kaska' helmet had curved rain-brims down the side, which many confuse with the American one, (However, it dips in the middle, unlike the American model).

I remember seeing more of these--they had pictures of people of all ethnic groups and races with the same message. They were made to discourage prejudice and hate towards the other soldiers fighting against the Axis. It was a good, powerful message. :)

Vamos ver a partir do próximo ano...
